Raw diets for large dogs/ mastiffs?

i pretty much took the line of asking myself "if my dog was here with no humans, what would he eat?" and primarily i kept coming back to small animals such as chicken or similar birds and rabbits or similar rodent types. The easiest, cheapest, and simplest method then was feed him chicken. That means ALL of the chicken (NOT cooked), organs, meat, and bones. Since they don't sell the chicken with organs (normally) I buy the chicken gizzards, hearts, and liver separate. Grain feeding is just plain crazy and the irony is raw feeding is not only healthier but cheaper once you figure out the best places and most economic ways to buy it. So more like 90/10 mix being chicken with bone/organs. No sense buying any meat separate from bone as it then complicates you figuring out how much bone to get AND it is more expensive. I do alternate sometimes with turkey and beef also just to keep some variety but same philosophy of 90% meat WiTH bone to 10% organ meat and not just one organ as they have different qulities so make sure you do give heart AND liver and suggest a 3rd organ too.

I pose the following question, what is the difference between hating somebody for their ethnicity or chosen religion, and hating Cleveland browns fans, or WVU? One might say it is just a friendly rivalry. But is it? Could hate groups just be a broader and more expansive version of rooting for your home team so to speak? Malcolm X in the 60's promoted white hate in New York and throughout the United States. Radical Muslim fundamentalists today promote Anti-American sentiments throughout the middle east. The hate groups on the internet for the most part do not explicitly advocate violence, but they promote an attitude of supremacy. This is very much like how most Steeler fans would not directly advocate aggression towards a Cleveland or Baltimore fan, but suggest that Pittsburgh is better than Cleveland or Baltimore. However when the inevitable instances of violence do take place, I find myself asking, yet again, the same exact question. Only thing that I did was sign papers relinquishing my rights. I went to the courthouse to get them notarized. Only paper the court would not notarize was of one that required the fathers' signature; however told me that if I could find a notary to do so, that it would be fine. I had a friend who was a notary who did this for me; but not in the presence of a judge/courtroom/any other legal witness; just my home. I never received or heard of any verification that the adoption went through. The people who have my son will not cooperate with me. It's been almost a year. How can I be a better person?

I know I am the worst person in the world. Im a very mean, jealous, competitive person. I realize that I have never had a close friend or a best friend and its because i dont seem capable of loving anyone from deep within. I always look at the bad side of ppl and use that to keep my distance or i just put ppl down. I add about half a litre of vinegar (white, brown, doesn't matter) to a 40-degreewash - don't add anything else, no detergent, no softener. This not only kills and gets rid of the mildew but also makes sure that other chemical residues are removed. Then line-dry. As other posters have said, try adding a cupful of vinegar to every wash as a preventative measure - a thousand times cheaper than Calgon tablets and does exactly the same thing. The slight smell of vinegar completely vanishes in the air as it dries.

Back in August I used my boyfriend's checking account (without his authorization) to pay a credit card bill. The transaction didn't go through but it caused his account to overdraw as well as checks to bounce. I paid him back the amount that his account was overdrawn (over $800). I paid him the money back by depositing the money into his checking account. I no longer want to be with this guy, but every time I try to break up with him, he threatens to have me arrested and press charges against me for this and say that I never paid him the money back. Can he do this? Im not sure but isn't it illegal to threaten to press charges againgst someone? I feel like he is blackmailing me. He says he's gonna have his lawyer call my job and have the cops come arrest me at work. I have EVERY receipt from all the deposits I made into his account after this incident.I know this was a stupid mistake on my part but I also know that I paid him back EVERY penny. Please help!!!

Sounds like a "stress fracture" to me. It doesn't show up on many scans or x-rays, take the Dr's advice and give the running a break for a few months. It should get much better. I have had a couple from running, and with rest for 90 days they went away. Hope this helps.

what do you think is going on. ok i was going to criminal court since march, against a cop and dcfs investigator, ok the case lasted until aug, they dismissed the case. i never saw the dcfs worker but that one time when he came to check out my home. i saw the cop 2 times in court, the first apperance, then trial. ok now the case went to an administrative judge for dcfs, now this court is to have a indicated finding to get expunged from your name, ok on the day of this court no dcfs worker or supervisor only their dcfs lawyer, me the other person they involved ,the law judge, and the cop that was their witness, anyway the out come was granted we won the case far as dcfs indicated us for neglect, the judge granted that all these alligations be removed from the state central registry, and the reason stated in the letter that we won was because they had no crediable evidence against us, and the doctors misdiagnois my grandson, and when the cop was asked by the judge what was we arrested for he couldn't answer but he did answer we was not arrested for anything had to do with the childs fall out the bed. is it something i can do about this? and they did remove my grandson from my home but he's back now he was gone for 3 mo. tell me what should i do. and i talked with someone from the dcfs hotline they looked up the case and stated what we were charged for , dcfs had no grounds to remove my grandson from my home.

I removed the va ist fuel diaphram and the motor runs fine. Is this an indication of stuck rings. Or maybe the float valve is not sealing well. I cleaned the carbs and reinstalled them only to have the same symtom. Everything looked fine and there was almost no gel in the carbs, I removed the jets and the float valves during cleaning. I don't have a manual yet. this is a 1978 evinrude 85 4 cyl 2 stroke, does not show any signs of overheating. some people have mentioned the filter could have junk in it, the thing floods out and stalls, it does not starve and stall. the spark is vantastic, the plugs have been cleaned and gapped. any Idea as to what could make the symtoms. When I removed the pump the motor ran fine until it ran out of gas, with the pump hooked up it loads up and stalls within minutes.

Unless you are running a 64Bit OS, I would not install more then 4GB of ram, as you will not ever be able to allocate it and use it. You should be fine with 4GB of ram anyway for audio, only time you would need the 8GB would be if you were editing videos or large photos.

Cavalry Scout, like Infantry, have some of the lowest qualification standards for enlistment. Many super qualified people choose those MOS's because they are the jobs that do the most "army stuff" but it doesn't take a lot to actually get them. He is most likely lying unless there is some other undisclosed issue. If he doesn't have the guts to be open and honest with his family and he is a pathological liar, he would just have a hard time in the military anyway. Depending on the severity of what he was being dishonest about, he could recieve Non-Judicial Punishment or just get the crap kicked out of him.

6 weeks old and congested?

My 6 week old baby is still congested. The doctors keep telling me he is fine but they never hear him cough and they don't know what he sounds like while he's drinking his bottles. I thought he was getting better but he's going down hill again. This has progressively gotten worse over 5 weeks, he now gets so congested after a bottle it sounds like he's drowning in it and waves his arms around trying to breath, last night and this morning he drank about 2 oz and while i was trying to burp him he threw up what looked like all of it, he wasn't wanting anymore after that and has just seemed really lethargic today, i have noticed phlegm in what he throws up but he's never had a fever with this so i don't know what to think, he goes to a new doctor the 20th, im doing all i can do apparently, i give him the saline drops up his nose about every 2 hours and he has his humidifier on at night, im not able to suck anything out but it does sound like its nasal congestion but after he drinks a bottle i can feel the congestion in his chest sometimes or it just sounds like he's drowning in it when he starts coughing. What else can i do?

There was a situation like this when I was a teenager and what we did is write an anonymous note and included a copied article of the importance of waiting til a certain age to back a horse. We didn't have internet back then, but now you could look up some articles and maybe print one off. Leave the note where the lady will find it and you could mention that you are reporting her to the proper authorities as well. This is if you don't want to do it in person. It might have the benefit of keeping this woman from getting defensive. I don't know. This kind of approach wouldn't work with everyone, but may be something you try second. But calling the authorities and the rescue is a great place to start. Good luck to you.

My brand new MacBook won't play any DVDs. Why and what can I do to fix the problem?

I have had this MacBook for little over a month. It's brand new and I have tried nearly everything for it. I'm losing my patience with it, and am regretting ever purchasing it. I cannot play a DVD on it using the DVD player because the DVDs aren't set to the same region. The program won't let me change the region either (I know all about these regional DVD permissions, and how you're only allowed 4 changes, etc.). That's not the issue. I'm using VCL media player now, but the drive won't play anything through that either. The drive isn't broken because I am able to watch "Underworld" on it but not "T2" or "Wall:E." Once again, I cannot change the region because the only region the program allows me to change it to is the region that should be allowing the DVD to play on (Region 1 for N. America). I also wrote a new script for the DVD player that allows it to play through VLC each time I pop a DVD into the drive. Still, it isn't working. Are there any other programs that let me play DVDs that won't give me all this s*** about regions, permissions, etc.? I thank you in advance for any help you can give. I'm becoming very frustrated with Macs in general thanks to this and other compatibility issues I've been having.

Ideas on how to prevent mildew and clean it around kitchen sink?

remodeled kitchen 2 years ago and now mildew is building up on sink edge where the caulk was installed. starts out with light black spots and beginning to turn solid black color. it's an undermount sink (white porcelen with granite top). i hate to hire someone to scrap all of the caulking out and install new caulk. afraid it'll start all over again. thanks for your suggestions

New to Mac. Can I play avis, mpgs, wmas, etc.?

Ok, so I went for a mage yesterday and everything seemed to be going fine when the person was maging my neck, but then she lifed up my shirt and started rubbing my back and I got REALLY ticklish! I could hardley sit still anymore. Whats worse is after awhile she started squeezing my sides which is where my tickle spot is and I couldnt stop laughing. It was a shame to spend $30 just to have someone tickle me. Extremely sore throat and lots of blood in my phlegm.?

last night my throat started to feel like someone had stabbed it with a knife on one side I figured it was just a sore throat and went on to bed this morning I woke up and hey there is a good amount of blood in my phlegm. no sneezing no coughing(well I have been coughing a little but not enough to truly be notable) no fever no chills no allergies no headache just me the throat and the bloody phlegm and it hurts to talk. but yeah everything was going good and suddenly my mum wants to take me to the doctors yuk any clues as to what this is so I'll be prepared would be great thank you.

Eye irritation on one side near exterior lacrimal in corner of eye (Canuc lacrim?) Itching off and on but not severe swelling, minimal redness. Brusing is about the size of a quarter and looks like it is running from the oppening of the lower duct (hole in lower, inner eyelid). We have an eye doc here (I am deployed but he has no gear) who thought I might have rubbed it wrong, or poss an allergy. Been two weeks with no real change to bruising or irritation. Small discomfort likely from swelling. Not sure what to do and traveling to a doctor is a pain in the ***. Suggstions? I am using some allergy eye drops x 2 days and taking allegra. Is it poss I just scratched the tissue by rubbing it (hence bruise below)? How concerned should I be. No drainage, no overflow of tears, no apparent dryness, no crusting. Just irritated with a bruise below. If it is a minor infection will it go away without treatment?

Bleeding out of no where?

missed a period twice in a row for Aug and Sept. now in october i have one. it started out light now its getting heavier and heavier and lighter. its been on for NINE days and is still on. my regular periods usually last for 5 days. with this being said i have frequent urination. its so bad that each night i wake up at 2 then 4 in the morning. this is strange but before i go to a doctor i would like to have suggestions please. what could this be? is it normal after two missed periods to bleed continously this long with no pain?and somethings just keeps tapping in different spots of my tummy. could something be wrong with....ughhh plz just help! no gullible answers plz. thanxs!!!

Depo Provera? Endometriosis, and hormones..?

I have been on depo provera for a few months, and I have been bleeding everyday the entire time. So, I am now weening off of it and I have morning sickness. (I feel like puking a few hours after waking). I know that with hormones you can experience morning sickness... but how long until these hormones wear off? I need to stop bleeding so I can have again and just stop feeling so pms-ey all the dad gum time, and I'm sick of feeling nauseated and tired. This totally blows. But I need to know how long until the hormones are gone so I can start another kind of hormone regimen because if I have a period again normally I will just die in pain and won't be able to function. They are both great guitars but I'd say go with the Yamaha. You'll save same money and as you are starting out on electric you might want to get a better guitar in the future. The Yamaha is just as good as the Fender, but people diss them cus they're not an as well known brand.

How can I fix my broken screen on my laptop?

I have a a gateway laptop. About 4 years ago, I mistakenly dropped my laptop. Unfortunately, I haven't had the money to replace it or get a tech to fix it. The problem is the laptop will come on, but the screen would stay completely black. I tried the contrast and brightness of the screen, didn't work. I tried the 30sec & 60sec turn off and taking out the battery trick, and nothing works. Is their any other way i can fix it myself? If not I have to spend money on an expensive tech.

How do I build my cardio capacity for cardiac endurance?? I need to condition my heart for sprinting/jogging?

I haven't done cardio within the last 4 to 5 months, I'm highly deconditioned, I perform hiit for 10 mins and started to get dizzy, I'm on a cutting routine and need to strengthen my cardiovascular system for endurance and of course fat loss, then again I focus on athletic performance. Is long duration cardio good for conditioning? or moderate pace? This question has nothing to do with fat loss, I just need to strengthen my cardiovascular system and eventually after 4 weeks of diligent cardio training, I will engage HIIT for vengeance, I'm on a 12 week program lol, I would like to start HIIT on phase 2 of the program, and that's on november 1st. Is it possible for me to get strong in terms of my cardio system within 4 weeks?

What' are the Gas co Hotwater tank contract responsiblities?

Most people have rental HW tank in their homes, fr Gas Co. and rarely do they read carefully what are the responsiblities of the Gas Co. for this single item when it comes to services and repairs. is it right. I have a rental one at home, recently the thing overflow and all hot water, steamy hot water ran down the drain through the overflow pipe by the side of tank, flooding the basement in the process. When I called and ask them to fix the problem, the service depat gave me a good run around. Without looking at the job, they simply replied over the phone, there were water leaking in the valves there, its a plumbing problem, nothing to do with the hotwater tank. Did you see water gushing out from that valve xx; that valve yyy and that one over there valve zzz, we do not do plumbing work. I said to them where were the valves you were talking about. Then they said you did not understand English. How much English do one has to understand to know the tank was overflowing and flooding the basment. I therefore got no help or service from them. The steamy hotwater wetted the foot of drywall and wood near the hottank, mold started to form. One contractor told me the damage cost roughly now $500.00. Is it correct to think this is certainly a rental tank Co. problem to fix it for customers??? Since I was getting nowhere, I am preparing to get to a claim lawyer to suit for damage to my basment. Anyone has any bright idea. Summer months are ok, I can get by with less hotwater. Because hotwater did not get up to the bathroom on 2nd floor if I turn off the valve immediately next to the overflow. Now I pulledl the plug from the elec power outlet. The tank is dead just sitting there. Cold weather is coming we might need hotwater for everything to run our daily routines. My doctor prescribed me to take seroquel at night...thank god he did bc its very sedating.....he said the medication with help during the next day as well...but its not an extended release....I dont just want this for sleep I want it to stabilize my moods....will it help during the day even though I take it at night

HelloI would like to know if there was a device out there that will allow me to print a name on irregular sized, glossy, thick, fancy paper, that won’t fit into my printer. It needs to look professional and like I sent it out to a printing company to have it personally imprinted with there name on it, but since I don’t know their names in advance, and the fact that it will be different names each day, I can’t have then professionally printed up. Is there some small hand held device, like a label maker that will print on stuff? Thanks
